You need to take down a media server and it’s close to the time when the nightly backups are to start. You want to make sure that no jobs start until you are done with your maintenance on the media server. What do you do? Run the following commands from the Netbackup master.
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbpemreq -suspend_scheduling
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbpemreq -resume_scheduling
