Here are a couple of examples of how Netbackup handles tape media:
- Netbackup will mix retentions on one tape only if “Allow multiple retensions per media” is checked under “Master Server Properties”.
- Netbackup will allow backups to span tape and disk media only if the appropriate options are checked under “Master Server Properties”.
