Trust The Lord

I recently had to move my 97 year old mother into assisted living. It was probably the biggest, most complex, most emotionally charged situation I ever had to handle. Especially since mom had been living next door to myself, my wife and my 8 year old son for the past 5 years. During the trials and tribulations my pastor gave me the following passage to memorize.

Proverbs 3:5,6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

This verse means a lot to me now. My understanding is so limited. When I realize this fact and follow the teachings from the bible and listen to godly men then my paths are straightened. Now if I could only stop making them crooked.
